East Broad Top Railroad in the Snow - October 2011

A rare early season snow was all the reason to head West to visit the East Broad Top Railroad.  It was well worth the driving hazards.  Enjoy.

More Water....Delaware River Flooding

So around 2:30am I am awoken by thunder.  It is raining hard again.  I check the basement and all is well.  45 minutes later, water is coming in the basement window and up through the slab.  _uck.  The back yard is a swimming pool with water 6-8 inches deep.  I get the yard fixed in about 2 hrs.

Enough of my problems because other people have it worse.  Here are a few pictures on the Delaware River at Washington Crossing.  River will still come up another couple of feet but it should not reach a level where it will be a problem for us.

Why can't it just follow directions.
